Special Event: Food Drive

This is our 4th annual canned food/toiletries drive for our local high school, East Lincoln High. It came to our attention a few years ago that they have a need for their Backpack Program. This program provides a backpack full of food and toiletries on Friday afternoons to students that are in need for the weekend. Although our son graduated last year, the need does not stop. This year, they have an increase in the number of students utlizing this benefit.

What they need right now: meat or bean based proteins (canned chicken, chili with beans, beef stew, SPAM). Protein bars and meal replacement bars are very helpful. Shelf stable dairy and non-glass pasta sauce and pasta are also great options.  Toiletries and drinks also welcome.

We are offering a Meet & Treat at no cost in exchange for a donation of items from the list. You can feed the alpacas and take pictures and selfies. 

Please sign up to attend because our parking is limited and we need to spread people out. We encourage a minimum 3 items per person, but are happy to take as much as you want to offer. Last year you all did NOT disappoint and we provided enough food for a year. It's time to do it again and we love to use the draw of the alpacas to do some GOOD.

Can't attend, but want to help? Options include: Venmo @goodkarmaranch and note Backpack Program or send gift cards directly to the school itself noting the school Backpack Program, drop items off to the school directly with a note Backpack Program. 

Items most needed: NOTHING EXPIRED OR CLOSE TO EXPIRATION or it will have to be thrown away.
